They are an integral part of our team, contributing significantly across all areas of the organization. Through their efforts, volunteers build enduring relationships and enhance the overall well-being of those they support. Volunteers truly inspire possibilities!

What Opportunities Are Available?

Community Living Belleville and Area has volunteer opportunities for everyone!  Here are some typical roles:

• One-to-One Match:  Connect with someone we support and spend time together at least twice a month to build a friendship.
• Community Participation Supports: Engage participants in activities like cupcake decorating, musical events, card/board games, cooking classes, and more.
• Committees: Join one of our committees to contribute your skills and ideas.
• Other Opportunities: Have a special skill or interest? Let us know, and we can create a custom volunteer role for you.

How to Become a Volunteer

All volunteers must submit an application, provide references, attend an interview, and complete a current Criminal Reference Check. Once approved, you'll meet the person or people you will be supporting. Our team will give you a full orientation and support you as you join our team!
